Extra Mile Award

Do you know a social worker, prosecutor, therapist, nurse, doctor, judge, law enforcement officer, teacher, advocate, clergy or other person who is relentless in seeking safety, permanence and resolution for children in need? If so, nominate that individual for the WV Children’s Justice Task Force’s Extra Mile Award.

The Extra Mile Award was created by the WV Children’s Justice Task Force to recognize those who have shown excellence in the area of child abuse and neglect. The Award, to be presented during the Children’s Justice Task Force 2004 Conference, will recognize and honor individuals who go the “extra mile” on behalf of abused and neglected children. A committee of the Children’s Justice Task Force will select the award recipients. Nominations must be received no later than Wednesday, October 3, 2007.
